{Memories Captured} My Girls

I really try to keep this blog positive, but with my family I can be a bit of a complainer.  It's really no good.  Especially when it comes to the girls.  My wonderful, sweet girls who are both trying to figure the world out. In conjunction with Alison of Writing, Wishing, Galit of These Little Waves, and Tracy of Sellabit Mum this post is dedicated to my girls.

T, who is a true first child, is a big personality wrapped up in a small package.  A natural leader, she will tell you that everyone is her best friend - including the parents of her schoolmates.  She's active, yet will spend her entire nap time browsing through books.  She is fiercely independent and fiercely loving all at once.

L, is about to turn 4 months old, and is both a very physical child, yet a watcher, and as stubborn as everyone else in the family.  She'd rather stand than sit but will also study things for several minutes.  She's very sensitive to the mood in the room.  She can't stand to hear crying or shouting, smiles more for her sister than for anyone else, and refuses to take a bottle...even if it means an all-day fast.

It can be so easy to feel overwhelmed between temper tantrums and hungry crying fits, laundry, dishes and everything else.  Many thanks to Alison, Galit and Tracy for encouraging us to remember how wonderful our children make our lives.
